How it works

You may choose between two delivery methods for uploading a file to GulfNews.
A file can manually be uploaded via a web browser or it can be uploaded directly from any native application using GulfNews's client software -- Asura Direct.
When printing a file with Asura Direct all used fonts will be embedded by default.
Access to GulfNews requires user registration.
Please contact your Sales Agent at Al Nisr Group for registration.

Manual Upload

If you have a locally saved file, please continue as follows:
Open your web browser
Go to Gulf News
Enter your user name and password and click on the Enter Customer Area button
Choose your desired booking
Upload your file
You will receive an e-mail notification with a URL link to the generated PDF file Download the PDF file

To return to the start page and log-out from GulfNews (if logged in) Click here

Upload with Client Software

If you want to send data to GulfNews directly from native applications, please continue as follows:

  • Open the file/document in your native application
  • Use the file/print command and select the installed Asura Direct printer.
  • Log-in to GulfNews with your user name and password
  • Choose your desired booking
  • Upload your file
  • You will receive an e-mail notification with a URL link to the generated PDF file
  • Download the PDF file

How to install Asura Direct

  • Log-in to GulfNews
  • After logging-in, select the download link for the Asura Direct printer driver setup
  • Double-click the Asura Direct setup file and follow the installation directions to install the Asura Direct printer
  • Asura Direct will appear in the list of available printers. This printer is now available from any application (e.g. InDesign, XPress, Word)
